After such a long journey, you may feel quite tired upon arrival. Once you reach Chopta, complete your check-in and take some time to freshen up. Afterward, enjoy your meal and relax for the rest of the day. You can unwind in your room overnight, and if you still have some energy, feel free to explore a few local spots. Chopta, situated at an altitude of 2,900 meters above sea level in Uttarakhand, serves as the starting point for the trek to Tungnath.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for Tungnath, which is situated at an elevation of 3,680 meters above sea level. Once you reach Tungnath, it’s just one more hour of climbing to reach Chandrashila, which stands at 4,090 meters. The breathtaking panoramic views from the top will leave you in awe. After completing the trek, check in to your camps for the night. Freshen up and enjoy your dinner, as this will be your accommodation for the night.
