Shimla and Manali offer a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and cultural experiences. Whether you’re looking to relax in the hills or seek thrills, these destinations have something for everyone.
Tour guests will arrive at Chandigarh Airport according to their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, they will meet the Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Shimla, often referred to as the "Queen of Hills." This beautiful destination is renowned for its scenic beauty, colonial-era architecture, and pleasant climate.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) Guests: J&L guests will join the group on their own. They will bear the transfer costs to reach the designated meeting point or hotel.
En-Route Visit
- Pinjore Garden: Explore this stunning garden designed in traditional Mughal style, featuring seven descending terraces, grand pavilions, and beautiful fountains.
In the evening, there will be a short Meet and Greet session in Shimla.

Today, we will visit
Kufri, known as the winter sports capital of Shimla. Our exploration will include
Indira Bungalow and the
Himalayan Zoo.
Later, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the famous
Mall Road, where we will see notable landmarks such as
Christ Church,
Scandal Point, and
The Ridge.

Today, we will head to
Manali. On our journey, we will drive past the
Pandoh Dam and the scenic
Kullu Valley. During our tea break, we will visit the
Kullu Shawl Factory.
In the evening, we will arrive in Manali, a beautiful hill station nestled in the heart of the snowy mountains.

Today, we will enjoy a spectacular drive to
Rohtang Road Snow Point. Here, you’ll have free time to play in the snow and take plenty of pictures.
Later, we’ll visit
Hidimba Mandir, a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi, nestled amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali. We’ll also explore the
Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, known for its stunning architectural beauty.
Afterward, you’ll have some free time for shopping. In the evening, we’ll gather for a bonfire and enjoy a traditional
Himachali Folk Dance, followed by dinner.

- Health Advisory: Rohtang Road Snow Point is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. We strongly recommend consulting with your doctor if you are a minor, senior citizen, or have pre-existing medical conditions before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Access: Rohtang Pass is 51 km away from Manali and is not accessible for about 8 months a year due to snow. We will visit the designated snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by the Border Security Force.
- Rental Gear: Snow clothes, jackets, and gum boots are available for rent at shops along Rohtang Road for an additional cost.

Today, we will drive through the newly popular tourist attraction,
Atal Tunnel (subject to operation), the world’s longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet.
Afterward, we’ll proceed to
Solang Valley, a stunning area in Solang village that offers magnificent views of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here, you can enjoy a ropeway ride and take in the breathtaking Himalayan scenery.
For those with an adventurous spirit, thrilling activities such as paragliding, biking, trekking, and hiking are available at an additional cost.

Today, we will visit
Naggar Haveli, a medieval castle built by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu around 1460 A.D.
Later, we’ll embark on the thrilling activity of
river rafting in the cool, white waters of the Beas River.

Tour guests will proceed to the airport according to their scheduled group flight departure time.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) guests will leave the group after the scheduled program, bearing the transfer costs to their respective airport/cruise/rail/bus terminal.

Airline:
- On group tours, we generally fly with airlines that are group-friendly.
- Group tours are based on economy class. If you wish to travel in Premium Economy, Business Class, or First Class, arrangements can be made at an additional cost, subject to availability.
- During air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per airline policy. We recommend carrying dry snacks for the journey.
Transport:
- For transfers and sightseeing, we use small cars, Tempo Travellers, or mini/big coaches depending on the group size.
- Seating arrangements are based on booking priority. Seats 1 & 2 are reserved for Tour Managers and Guides, while seats 3 & 4 are Prime Seats available for an additional cost.
- In small cars, there will be 4-6 guests per vehicle on a rotation basis.
- If you wish to utilize a vehicle solely for yourself or your family or would like to upgrade the vehicle, arrangements can be made at an additional cost, subject to availability.
Sightseeing Attractions:
- Due to the dynamic situation, some monuments or attractions may be closed temporarily without notice. In such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate site, or entry fees will be refunded.
Hotels:
- The hotels on tour are comfortable and have received positive feedback from Veena World guests. Please check the respective hotels before booking.
Room Sharing:
- Occasionally, two single travelers of the same gender may share a room. Please review the instruction paper along with the terms and conditions.
Meals:
- All meals are provided from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary.
- Additional meals will be provided at no extra cost in case of early arrivals or late departures due to flight timings.
- For transit times exceeding three hours, guests will receive a meal or meal coupon.
- Generally, meals are provided in restaurants. Occasionally, packed meals will be offered for ease of itinerary operation/sightseeing.
- Breakfasts are typically Indian or Continental, while lunches and dinners are served as set menus, featuring Indian or regional dishes. Vegetarian food will be served at religious places, while all other meals may include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
