The Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, draws thousands of pilgrims. Surrounded by the Nar and Narayan mountains, the town offers spiritual significance along with stunning views of the Alaknanda River and snow-capped peaks.

  • Early Morning: Start your journey from Haridwar or Rishikesh and drive towards Badrinath.
  • On the Way: Enjoy the scenic route along the Alaknanda River, passing through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Joshimath. Take a break at Vishnuprayag (one of the five confluences of the Alaknanda River).
  • Afternoon: Reach Badrinath and check in at your accommodation.
  • Evening: Visit Badrinath Temple for evening aarti (prayer) and explore the sacred town.
  • Overnight: Stay in Badrinath.

  • Morning: Visit the temple early in the morning for darshan.
  • Post-Darshan: Head to Mana Village (the last village of India, 3 km from Badrinath). From here, start your trek to Vasudhara Falls (6 km trek one way).
    • On the Way: You'll pass beautiful landscapes and the Saraswati River. It's a moderately easy trek with views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers.
    • Vasudhara Falls: The waterfall drops from a height of 400 feet and is a mesmerizing sight surrounded by towering mountains.
  • Afternoon: Trek back to Mana and return to Badrinath.
  • Evening: Relax and visit other nearby spots like the Tapt Kund (hot springs).
  • Overnight: Stay in Badrinath.

  • Morning: After breakfast, you can visit Charan Paduka, a 3 km short trek from Badrinath. The trek leads to a rock with Lord Vishnu’s footprints, offering beautiful views of the surrounding region.
  • Late Morning: Begin your drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh.
  • On the Way: Enjoy scenic mountain views as you pass by beautiful spots like Joshimath and Vishnuprayag.
  • Evening: Reach Haridwar or Rishikesh, marking the end of your journey.
