  • Afternoon: Arrive at Sankri by late afternoon or early evening. Sankri is a quaint village located at an altitude of 6,400 feet.
  • Evening: Check into a guesthouse or homestay in Sankri. Take a stroll around the village, enjoy the sunset views, and prepare for the trek starting the next day.
  • Overnight: Stay in Sankri.
  • Morning: After breakfast, start the trek from Sankri. The trail begins with a gradual ascent through dense pine and maple forests.

  • Afternoon: Reach Juda Ka Talab, a serene lake surrounded by pine trees and snow-covered fields. This is your campsite for the night, located at around 9,100 feet.
  • Evening: Set up camp, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and have dinner under the stars.
  • Overnight: Camp at Juda Ka Talab.
  • Morning: After breakfast, continue your trek towards the Kedarkantha base camp. The trail becomes steeper as you ascend through pine forests, open meadows, and snowfields.
  • On the Way: You’ll get your first glimpse of the Kedarkantha Peak along with stunning views of the surrounding mountains such as Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Black Peak.
  • Afternoon: Reach the Kedarkantha Base Camp, located at an altitude of approximately 11,200 feet. This is where you’ll spend the night before the final summit attempt.
  • Evening: Relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunset view from the campsite.
  • Overnight: Camp at Kedarkantha Base Camp.
